STARLIGHT COUNTY - INCIDENTS

March 19, 1993 - Starlight County TV Production News station anchors Boris Benevall and Amy Kramer cover a story regarding the shootout between ECPD Chief Elijah Dorrall and DMA cult leader Nicholas Walters.

1994/Early 1995 - A series of notes from Edmund Industries worker Malcolm Argon were found in his possession, detailing the process of creating a new game "Rollio". For context, Edmund Inc. is owned by Phillip Edmund, entrepreneur and industrialist at heart.

January 10, 1995 - Some time after Rollio is released to the public, several Edmund Inc. workers mysteriously vanish while at work. None have been located, except for Malcolm Argon, a visual programming coder, who avoided work that day. This discovery wasn't known until much later.

January 19, 1995(PART ONE) - Over the weekend after the game's release, an anti-piracy error pops up in 98.9% of all released copies. The error displays an anomalous hazard that affects cognition in young children and adolescents, paralyzing their bodies immediately after looking at the screen. There is no cure for this. Any post-pubescent person watching falls ill with severe migraines. Over 1,000 are affected and authorities stop all selling of the Rollio product, halting any game cartridge production and dismantling the Rollio arcade machine at the Starlight Arcade. A Cease and Desist letter is made to the Edmund Inc. company by Agent Logan McKinnley for any remaining employees who weren't missing/were still part of the company. PRS intervenes and sets up a blockade on the property. However, agents stationed there also vanished.

January 19, 1995(PART TWO) - A 19-year-old female Copy/Print shop employee named Claire Pierre is interviewed on a radio show about the 'Rollio' incidents. She reveals her younger brother Clifford was killed by the anomaly. Claire is closely monitored by agents, seen to be taking work off for her own investigation. Then she is unable to be spotted by agents.

January 19, 1995(PART THREE) - Later in the night, the Edmund Industries building catches fire, with few eyewitnesses saying they saw a young figure with a hood running from the premises. Though thought to be Claire, there is no probable evidence to arrest her. The end result of the factory's destruction revealed a burnt and horribly disfigured organism, suspected to be Edmund himself and is now Entity #434. A Biopsy concluded that employees/some PRS agents were consumed by E#434. USDPC retrieves E#434 and extracts it back to ATNL for study. All current Rollio copies except one are incinerated, and anyone affected receives a compensation award.
